In English unpopular means more than one thing, including the opposite of well known (or not famous), not for the masses (not palatable to many, unique), and also disliked (this connotation is somewhat negative, but not heavily so; I.e. “I was unpopular in high school, I was a goth, not a cheerleader”). But we like that ambiguity, that edginess! We are reclaiming the term and making it something completely new. As the name suggests, our podcast is about unpopular people with extraordinary life stories from all over the world. We believe that everybody has something amazing to share with the world.
